La Jolla Cottage is located in the La Jolla neighborhood in San Diego, 5 miles from SeaWorld San Diego and 6 miles from University of San Diego. San Diego - Santa Fe Depot Amtrak Station. They have very unique benedicts and I had their signature benedict which was fantastic and the sauce was perfection. We ordered pork belly benedict, roasted vegetable omelette and salmon hash. Decent sized portions and good cocktails. We had bloody Mary's (added bacon), watermelon mojitos, salmon hash and the Baja chicken hash. The food is definitely good. I was able to tell the quality of the food! It's been a while since I've written a review or been to brunch and I'm glad the first happened to be The Cottage. Everything was delicious! Sounds like you made some good choices for your breakfast orders... pictures look awesome! The portion was pretty big & that cream that came on the side was a pretty good addition.
One more perk was that they have Nekter Juice Bar on site. The location is 5 stars - Pleasent outdoor corner space to have breakfast / brunch. Tasty and flavorful.The service is good too.However it would need some serious cleaning on the inside, the carpet and booth are so dirty. Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, Gluten Free Options. It’s not fancy, just good simple tasty breakfast. Great service, delicious food, huge portions, fast service, great management, very affordable, excellent place to have a delicious breakfast in La Jolla. All we ask is that you follow a few simple guidelines. I really enjoy the atmosphere dining here, but due to COVID, I rather get to-go.
