ML got more and more brainless and it was not adorable. Throughout my reading spree, I’ve noticed that Chinese BL novels really like tropes such as reincarnation, transmigration, and also stories about cultivation. I'm sure the story might be better later on, but this entire premise makes it too triggering for me to read, considering how many people I know who are caught in the same position of taking after the family business and being unhappy about it.
