Hail, Caesar! B 6/10
The Choice: C n/a
I loved this but I also loved Burn After Reading too. Jeff will like this more the second time. If you listen to his review, a 6/10 was way too harsh. He’s just grading this on what his expectations were. Like a reverse curve because he expected it to be better. He loved the scene with Ralph Fiennes and the cowboy. He loved the “No Dames” musical number with Channing Tatum. They didn’t mention it but I’m sure Jeff enjoyed Tilda Swinton playing two sisters dueling for a gossip/news column. The scene with all of the different religious leaders that was fantastic too. I agree that every Coen Brothers movie gets better with each viewing. They are on another level. Still good analysis as usual from you guys.
