It has some amazing scenes in the movie, some really funny, some sweet (like Turbo falling in love with a spanish dancer), one dance scene involving Turbo, which has baffled me even till this day as to how they managed to get him dancing across the floor, then up the walls, and then across the ceiling and down again in Ozone and Turbo's home.
I enjoyed watching it now as a 51 year old as I did as a teen back in the day...Different people, same difference.

The story for this movie is a little weaker than the first, but it centres around the main 3 characters again, Ozone, Turbo & Kelly, the usual rivalry is there between the different groups of breakers, but it was very much like that then, and still is. While the first film had an element of romance I appreciated how first and foremost the leads were friends, even family, and you get the feeling that no matter how that turns out they will always be lifelong friends because they share a mutual understanding of life based on dancing. musicals of Hollywood's yesteryear, this fly follow-up finds Kelly (Lucinda Dickey), Ozone (Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quiñones) and Turbo (Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers), trying to rescue a community center facing demolition at the hands of a greedy real-estate developer.

I then went on to purchase the VHS copies of these movies in the late 80's, one as a bargain cassette in Asda I believe, and Breakdance 2 I acquired, not sure how, I think it was ex-rental on VHS, the quality of the VHS tapes has long since deteriorated as I watched these movies a fair bit in my teenage life.
Once I then reached my 30's, I then obtained the first run DVD's of these, both 4:3, the transfer of Breakdance was good, but sadly for the official (apparently) release of Breakdance 2, the transfer was appalling, a seriously bad NTSC copy, with hideous sound, it was almost like the DVD was a pirate to be honest, but it wasn't.
