Sky Phoenix. The food has always been really average. A great variety of dishes are available. Known for Classic Chinese dishes from Peking duck to yum cha and banquets in a contemporary dining room.. The food and service are always first class. We won't be going back.More, This restaurant is essentially a mall type restaurant. Lucky my husband was on the ball and after putting in his pin number he quickly pressed 'cancel'. This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in Australia. I visited with a friend but think this venue would be great for large groups. The guy at desk told my husband there would be a charge for credit card and then put through $270.00 How could you mix that up??? They seemed to have a large number of staff, but as not all apparently spoke English, we were only served by a couple of waitpersons. Get there early; usually a full house. Review tags are currently only available for English language reviews. The classic Chinese banquet items were very mediocre mainly because of inferior ingredients. The friendly and prompt service and the ever delicious fresh food served in the restaurant gained the “Favourite Yum Cha” awarded by the Sydney Morning Herald – Good Food Guide 2005 This restaurant is highly recommended when people want to dine away from the street level hustle and bustle - it is on the 6th Level of the Westfield Centre. Service was so so. Overall - excellent yum cha it gets extremely busy so booking is advisable or get there early around 11am. Sky Phoenix is located on the 6 level of the Westfield shopping Centre. Will never go back there and will never recommend to anyone. Our bill was $197 for 3 people. OK cuisine but pricing and decor out of whack! Secure parking is located at 135 King Street which was very handy.
