Furnishings are modern and lavish and all rooms have bedside controls for the blinds so sunrise over Uluru can be enjoyed without moving an inch. The resort is located very close to Uluru and has the most spectacular views of the rock and the surrounding countryside. I chose to stay 3 nights, and this meant many of the tours were included such as the 10km Uluru base walk and a short hike at Kata-Tjuta. We couldn't agree more; three nights is a perfect minimum stay enabling time to see the all-important sights as well as time to slow down and enjoy the comforts of the lodge, such as the premium open bar, never-ending snacks and dining on the daily changing menus (all included in the tariff) - not to forget lounging by the plunge pool overlooking the vast outback frontier.
